We stayed for 7 nights and had a fantastic time. Staff were absolutely brilliant. Every single member of staff we came across was friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. For example, after ordering our coffees on the first morning at breakfast, the staff remembered our order and brought them over every morning afterwards without us even having to ask. The location is fantastic. So many incredible walks within easy reach and plenty of parking at the hotel. We stayed in room 124 and the views were incredible! Absolutely stunning, incredibly peaceful and the room itself was very spacious, with a large bathroom and bidet. The spa was also lovely, particularly the relaxation room with its waterbeds. Another thing we appreciated was that fresh towels were provided every day without any additional charge. We also used the laundry service, which was €8 for a medium-sized bag. Everything came back immaculate and smelling incredible! Fantastic value. I’d also highly recommend Martina’s, the restaurant directly opposite the hotel. The food was delicious and really good value. We enjoyed it so much we ate there 4 out of our 7 nights! Overall, the staff really are a credit to the hotel and we’d absolutely stay here again!

Only a few minor things. Although our room was lovely and spacious, the decor was a little dated and the mattress was incredibly firm, which we didn’t find particularly comfortable or supportive but I know this is personal. We also ate at the hotel restaurant one evening. The food was nice, although we felt it could have done with a little more seasoning, and unfortunately it was served rather lukewarm. Neither of these things would put us off returning, but just a couple of areas that could be improved.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit in sämtlichen Belangen. Wir bekamen an der Rezeption wertvolle Informationen für Ausflugsziele mit zum Biken oder zum Wandern, der Service merkte sich meist, was Gäste so konsumieren und war dazu sehr zügig unterwegs. Meine Bitte nach einer dünneren Bettdecke wurde prompt erfüllt und unsere Handtücher fürs Spa wurden am Morgen stets wieder aufgefüllt. Es war sehr ruhig (waren im obersten Stock) und wir konnten keinen unserer Nachbarn hören.

Am meisten gestört hat uns, dass im Spa keine Handtücher ausliegen. Stattdessen bekommt man je Person und Tag zwei Tücher aufs Zimmer. Wer in einer Sauna stark schwitzt, hat nach zwei Durchläufen kein angenehm trockenes Handtuch mehr zur Verfügung. Die Bio-Sauna könnte man ein bisschen aufhübschen.
