I highly recommend this place! It has a great location in the center of Asakusa with access to the subway. All instructions regarding the stay are provided in English. It is definitely a place for those who appreciate a traditional vibe and a friendly atmosphere. The place was neat and well-maintained. The reception staff were delightful and helpful.

Friendly staff, location & value for money

The bin in the bathroom was full on my arrival & the space under the table had not been cleaned.

Great location in Asakusa with reasonable prices. Quick check in and decent available amenities.

The entire building smelled of cigarette smoke. The owner said it blew in from the street however, working in real estate, I’ve been in enough properties to know when there has been smoking indoors for a long time and at no point did we see folks smoking outside, let alone the amount required to have that level of smell (we stayed here twice and it was quite evident both times). There is mold growing around the window sills so take care if you have any respiratory issues. The male owner is abrupt and can come off as rude- it was our last night in Japan and it was quite jarring relative to the rest of our experience. I understand working in tourism can be exhausting but the behaviour was unwarranted and had a negative impact as a bookend to our experience.
