SuB Karakoy - Special Category

at first we got a room that was a bit small and facing the other building even tho booked deluxe with city view, however, next morning we mentioned this to the staff and they were happy to move us to another room on the last floor with nice city view. kudos to the manager that arranged this super fast and with proper communication! room is quite vintage but comfy and nice looking breakfast is served with the nice view at the other building (but only 30secs away to switch the building so not a problem at all) staff is super friendly, got a complimentary wine bottle on the birthday day! (and a pretty tasty one!)

The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful, even before the stay. The breakfast was ok, although it was a very generous spread. It’s a good location. The reception area is large, but the look and cleanliness of the floors (carpeting) outside the rooms could have been better maintained.

The room cleaning was subpar, as was the quality of the towels. The room size was ok but it was dark, which was not helped by the dull furnishings. The room could be upgraded with better flooring and some sound proofing - or some double glazed windows as it was extremely noisy (this is a busy area). Wish it were more of a full service hotel despite its small size than just a place to sleep - breakfast, for example, was served in an adjacent hotel. This hotel has a fairly large bar and dining area which was deserted and could be put to use.

Very central and surrounded by lovely little streets of Karakoy, great interior and most importantly, amazing service and hospitality!!

The shower could have had a better draining system

Location was fantastic, staff were very kind and helpful. They checked in several times about whether there was anything they could improve which was nice, but the issue was mostly in advertising so didn't have much to say.

The hotel itself is fine, just not quite what it's advertised to be. Certainly closer to a hostel in ambiance and amenities than appears from their website or reviews. Rooms are quite small with no real space to sit/be besides the bed, wifi doesn't really work, and everything feels a little run down.
