Lyngrove Wines & Guesthouse

Tucked away behind Raithby this spot is way more central than you would think. 35 minutes from Cape Town, 30 minutes to Elgin, 10 minutes to Stellenbosch. Surrounded by wine farms I've not heard of, including Lyngrove's very own extensive, multi award winning range. Ken Forrester, Post House and Klein Welmoed are all a stone's throw away, but make sure to get a tasting of the Lyngrove range as well. A real surprise was the full scale billiards table with a well stocked honesty bar to help you forget those bad shots. The elegant main lounge was also a great place to relax. Whilst we didn't use the pool it looked excellent and a great place to spend a quite afternoon in summer. For the more energetic there is also a tennis court and walks around the 80 hectare estate are easy to do. Breakfast's were well presented with many options, the fruit bowls disappeared very quickly. We will almost certainly return, thank you Michel and team

I really can't think of anything. Perhaps keep an eye out for the pork sausages if you don't like spicy food. I got a little surprise on my first bite.

The Manager is super friendly and so accommodating for all our needs. the location is amazing with a gorgeous view of the mountains, and a quiet serene setting but close enough to good restaurants.

Bathrooms are a bit dated and could do with some maintenance to fill in missing grouting and tidy up silicone and our shower door didn't close properly.

Location was perfect as we were attending a wedding at the neighbouring farm. Surrounded by beautiful wine farms and scenary.

Need better directions to the place as Google Maps really took us down a long-winded gravel road to get to the actual establishment.

Stunning Guest House. Just so lovely and everything was perfect. Michele was so helpful and just a lovely person. Rooms were more than expected. Oh and the wines were good and we now have a new favourite Chenin
