Hotel Paraiso Escondido

Charming boutique hotel with a lot of character. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and the pool area is beautiful and relaxing. The location is great—close enough to walk to restaurants and beaches, but tucked away so it feels peaceful. Staff are friendly and helpful.. The views from the second floor are beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, a wonderful stay and definitely a place we’d recommend.

The only downside is that some areas could use a little updating, like the pool, chairs by the pool, showers

The scenery the location the staff was helpful with informing us of things to do around the area too.

There was a crack in the pool but other than that it was all amazing

Clean, friendly and helpful staff, nice decorations, quiet, hammocks

The pool is so full of chemicals it strings the eyes, but if you don t put your head in it s great

We recently stayed here while visiting Puerto Escondido. I want to start by saying the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming — he was the highlight of our stay and really made us feel cared for.

The hotel itself is very run down and in need of serious maintenance. The pool and common areas are not well kept (the main pool especially looked neglected), and the rooms also need updating. It’s a shame, because the property has charm and potential, but it doesn’t feel like it’s being taken care of.
