Okaliptus Otel

We love this place, this was the fifth year in a row that we’ve stayed here. Location is unrivalled - it’s right on the beach. We love the buffet food at breakfast and dinner, it’s proper food. If you’re expecting a full English breakfast then think again. Traditional Turkish breakfast items, then in the evening Turkish home - style cooking. Chilled, relaxing ambience about the place (we go early September) Love the complimentary pool/ beach towels - a new thing for this year.

Sensor lights on the stairs to the upstairs rooms would be good. WiFi in the rooms would be great! ( At present it’s only reliably available in the communal areas)

The buffet was nice but repetitive options

This hotel feels stuck in the 1990s. The rooms have a strong musty smell, with the scent of dampness, old wood, and outdated furniture. The bathroom is in desperate need of renovation, is poorly maintained, and smells bad. The “garden view” was actually just a view of a single plant and a tree. The TV picture was heavily pixelated, like old times relied on antenna and poor conection and there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, which is unacceptable nowadays. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay.
