We had a really disturbing experience with one of the bauhaus staff. We requested our bottle be filled with water from the reception. We requested warm water. The female working at the reception desk misunderstood our request and proceeded to fill in our metal bottle with boiling water from the coffee maker. - burning her hands slightly. Before we could comprehend what happened she dropped the bottle. And started yelling at us and scowling. She proceeded to scowl and while washing her hands from the nearby tap. Then, she flicked water towards us and left the counter. It took us a minute to figure out what happened. We understand the frustration of having your hand burn, (although it was not that serious, if you work with a coffee machine these accidents are bound to happen) however, flocking water at guests while yelling is incredibly disrespectful and degrading. There was a man sitting at the counter who did not even lift a finger to de-escalate the situation. We left wondering if the treatment would have been the same if our skin colour was different.

Great location, comfortable rooms, excellent staff, never felt unsafe!

The dorms and bar are not all in the same building so not alot of noise the lobby is open 24/7 and very cozy, there were two outlets in the beds and beds comfy enough

I stayed for a few nights and my key stopped working every night

Nice place, very central.

Noisy co-guests who stood by my bunk talking and laughing at 5am
