Best location for work trip to Exeter. Wonderful staff and the English breakfast gives a perfect start for the day.
It was my 3rd/4th time staying here and I really like to stay over here but this time I had the ground floor backside room. It was good, nice old vibe but it was not perfectly clean, I noticed dust and spiderwebs at some corners. Window closing was a bit hectic.

Clean and good location, staff friendly and helpful
No heating on in room, with an outside door onto decking was very cold. Outside temp 10degrees in October.
Also door had a glass panel to entrance courtyard which was not fully covered by an internal roller blind.
Breakfast wasn’t great, eggs for example over cooked, everything luke warm not hot, coffee stale. No fruit except an apple. Got the impression whoever provided the food thought it was just required as substance.
