Villa Lumières

Continental breakfast was good with homemade jams and fresh pastries.

We had a lovely stay. The villa was lovely. Had a beautiful view from our balcony. Great location. Isabella was so welcoming and helpful. We had great breakfasts. So relaxing and the village Goult was not far away with good restaurants. Pretty village, free parking.

Breakfast was great experience in true French style! Phillipe and Gwen were excellent hosts and the complementary bottle of wine on arrival was particularly welcome

Isabelle, the lovely owner and operator, of this beautiful villa, is marvellous. From her warm welcome, to all the useful ideas on how to structure our time in the area including which markets to get to on the right days, to her fabulous cooking. Warning: If you book in for one of her amazing dinners, have a very light lunch, or no lunch beforehand. The food is local, delicious and her servings are enormous. The meals while we were there were complimented with aperitifs, followed by local Ventoux red and white wines and finally her after dinner treat of a shot of rum with a choice of fruit flavourings. You can feel the love in this charming oasis. Isabella is also an artist and has travelled extensively. This is reflected in how beautifully she has decorated the villa. The other really memorable thing is, that over the 3 days we were there, we got to know some of the other guests really well over the breakfasts and dinners. So much so, that when I'd left some gear behind by mistake, new French friends we'd met there, went out of their way to get the things back to me. It was such a wonderful stay!
