Hotel Marqueses

This hotel is definitely unique. The uncovered central courtyard, while it made the rooms chilly, was magnificient. The room was a split level, which was awkward. The breakfast was well appointed with the typical buffet items.

My room was an awkward layout, with the beds on a mezzanine. The front desk personnel had limited english, which made interaction difficult.

Really love the building beautiaful 17th centuary building. Cost was good. Staff were wonderful!

The shower was a little all over the place in terma of temperature and seemed to leak at the base a bit, maybe someone can put some silicone sealant around the areas to reduce leakage

The staff made this place so wonderful. From always being welcoming and kind and offering directions to packing my breakfast super early in the morning and helping me weigh my bags, they were the highlight. The front desk staff is exceptional. The place is in a great location which is convenient for early tours and great food and lively atmosphere. Very clean and comfortable rooms and the beds are comfortable. A great place to stay in Cusco!

The breakfast didn’t have many options for healthy, filling food except fruit.

There is one gentleman who works at the desk in the morning, who was very helpful and had some suggestions for me when I wasn’t feeling well

The room felt very dark and cold, and the very much expired carpeting made my room feel dingy. It was also a tremendous amount of noise from the other side of my wall, some sort of bar or disco tech must’ve been there. Avoid room 102.
