Casona Plaza Hotel Centro

easily accessible, easy check-in and checkout, clean, friendly staff, nice bathrooms in hotel rooms

Room decor outdated and is more utilitarian

I had a wonderful stay at Casona Plaza Hotel and would definitely recommend it. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The breakfast was very good, and on the morning of my early departure they even prepared a to-go breakfast bag for me, which was a thoughtful touch that I really appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed, spotless sheets, reliable hot showers, and fast, stable WiFi throughout my stay. The location is excellent—just steps from Plaza Mayor, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The standout feature for me was the heater in the room. Wow! It made such a difference during the cold nights and made my stay especially comfortable. Overall, Casona Plaza Hotel exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Absolutely brilliant location… just at tra start of the walking street and one block from the main square. Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. Rooms were comfortable with nice beds, clean linen and soft towels. Plenty of hot water and good air conditioning. Breakfast was pretty much how it is in 3 star hotels in Peru… average… but you shouldn’t expect anything but that once you’ve been there a while lol.

Ordered dinner in the hotel restaurant and they went and got the food from other places. The food they delivered was disappointing to say the least.
