Bella y excelente ubicación, muy cercano a pista de esquí, muy confortable, lindas vistas a la ciudad y las montañas. Lugar muy bien cuidado, a pesar de estar con alta ocupación, muy tranquilo y silencioso.

We had a very good stay at El Colorado HabitaMar. The staff were genuinely lovely, welcoming and extremely helpful. The owner went above and beyond, even clearing the snow from our car after a snowstorm and helping us put on the snow chains, which we really appreciated. The flats are new, cosy, warm and fully equipped, with comfortable beds and a very quiet atmosphere. The location is also excellent for skiing, just a one-minute drive from the El Colorado slopes and around five minutes from La Parva.

The main downside is the price, which is incredibly high and makes the value for money difficult to justify. That said, accommodation in both El Colorado and La Parva is generally extremely expensive and seems to sit well above any reasonable market benchmark in Chile. We appreciated being able to pay in USD and benefit from the VAT exemption available to foreign visitors under Chilean law. However, the property only accepts cash USD for this purpose, with no EUR or other currencies and no credit card option, which is quite inconvenient.

They are friendly and that's where the good comments end. No english, we knew more spanish than the english they knew.

Unimpressive, almost no English. No towells, no toilet tissue! Hired 1 towel usd6. No restaurant at Habatimar, no restaurant open at resort! No shop food open! They said 3 min drive to Ski resort La Parva, has restaurant and minimarket. Drive was 11 mins on google. Bought a few items including toilet tissue! Paid USD1040 cash for accomodation, showed passport and immigration form verify vat deduction. She would not accept credit card to obtain the 19%vat reduction. Then paid usd200 cash deposit! This is amongst the worse places with 4 star rating I’ve been to! Wifi hard to connect. Doesnt work in the main room, only in the kitchen. At La Parva, the minimarket is very small, no clear signage. Next, can’t unlock room door, can’t run stove! Room unlocked! She said to pull ? Still don’t get it? This item repaeated itself a few times! Stove won’t go! Called her in & she showed us how to use stove and left. Stove still nogo, got her back, seems we need saucepan on hotplate too to work! Although the room felt warm when we arrived it soon became cold. Heater sign said leave set to 19-20 but it was at about 22. So increased just enough to activate the thermostat and later it was too hot. Shower time, notice says short shower or hot water runs out! Overall, bring your food, grog and necessities. Expect issues with parking your car. Expect a very difficult drive up the road (it's very narrow and the worst road to a ski resort I'd driven on). They are friendly and that's where the good comments end,
