Gasthaus Wollscheid

Nette en schone kamer, prima bed, goede douche. Rustig gelegen op kwartier van centrum van Trier. Auto gratis bij het hotel parkeren. We hebben er niet ontbeten, maar prima geslapen. Goede prijs- kwaliteit.

Het is een eenvoudig hotel, zonder poespas. Niets wat ons niet beviel.

Breakfast was AMAZING! I had no expectations and was delighted to see my table was already set the next morning with a yogurt-berry parfait, fresh fig, an avocado slice, a variety of cheeses/ham, a basket of croissant, white and dark rolls (one I used for my leftover cheese and ate for lunch!). I was brought freshly scrambled eggs and was particularly touched when I asked for some milk with my coffee and was brought an entire little pitcher of hot frothed milk--perfect! Herr Wollscheid himself welcomed me upon my arrival and was very hospitable. The desk in room was practical with an electrical socket right there for me to use my laptop. My mattress was also very comfortable. I did bring my own pillow because hotel pillows are always too high for me.

The walls are thin and light can come in under the door, but I had earplugs and an eye mask with me so wasn't bothered.

The room was clean and comfortable. There was not much beyond that.

The guesthouse is adjacent to a restaurant and there are no services when the restaurant is closed, which was the entire time I was there. For three mornings and nights, I could not get a cup of coffee, no breakfast, nor a glass of wine. There was no coffee/tea option in the room. I chose it because the location that is close to the university (where I attended a conference) but would not choose it again.

L'emplacement est agréable, écrin de verdure. Belle et bonne restauration. Chambres refait à neuf et assez jolies

Accès aux chambres très contraignant. Pas d'ascenseur et beaucoup de marches à monter. Chambres très mal insonorisées. À 3 heures du matin heure de mon départ pas d'eau chaude !?!. Le personnel de l'établissement très agréable, souriant et avenant ce que je ne peux pas prétendre de la gérante ou propriétaire concernant les gens de passage car avec les habitués apparemment elle l'ai.
