Hotel Yukhang

When i arrived at Hotel Yukhang, I found something special. Tucked away in the vibrant Thamel Area, this hotel offers the perfect balance—you're just a 4-minute walk from Chetrapati Chowk and surrounded by shops and restaurants, yet the moment you step inside, the noise fades into a peaceful sanctuary.‌ The Hotel architecture is stunning. The hotel beautifully designed by Tibetan style, with intricate wood carvings and the warm charm of local bricks. It feels authentically Nepali while still offering all the modern comforts you could want.‌ Our room was spotless and spacious, with a comfortable bed and reliable Wi-Fi that kept us connected throughout our stay. The staff truly made the experience exceptional—they were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to accommodate every request we had. Whether it was arranging tours or simply offering a friendly smile, their hospitality was genuine and heartfelt.‌‌ We dined at the rooftop restaurant and were thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious with a great mix of Himalayan and Continental options, and the views over Kathmandu were unforgettable. The garden terrace was a lovely spot to unwind after a day of exploring the city.‌‌ If you're looking for a hotel that captures the spirit of Kathmandu with comfort, character, and incredible service, Hotel Yukhang is the place. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location was convenient, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Breakfast was delicious in the morning and the hotel is on prime location.

This is the kind of hotel for groups economical option , very basic not a 4 star as stated in booking.com Very average , the location is good walkable distance from all the restaurants / pubs / bars , the lanes are nice to walk even late nights. Hotel is tucked away inside a lane.

Amenities / break fast options , very limited and outdated not a modern , but its got lot of tradition , definitely boutique hotel , again we stay just for a night so it was okay , all basic requirements for a quick stay overnight , this place is fine.
