The location and the was excellent. It had a working elevator. Having a door code instead of keys was convenient. The shower was a huge walk in type. Had most of the amenities of home. Climate control worked very well. The complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates were a nice touch.

The first day we had issues with the door code not working but they fixed the issue right away. The washer/dryer combo took some getting used to and the drying times were so long but it was very convenient having the unit.

The location is great, just a 5-minute walk from Barceloneta Beach. That being said, the apartment itself meets all our needs. It is comfortable, well-equipped, and we even received a small welcome gift, which was a lovely touch. Another positive point is that it was very easy and quick to get in touch with the owner, who was responsive and helpful.

The area itself is extremely noisy. This wouldn’t have been such a big problem if the windows were properly soundproofed, but unfortunately, the apartment has old wooden-framed windows, and it honestly felt like there were no windows at all. So, if you need a quiet environment to sleep, I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here. Even earplugs probably won’t be enough. We got somewhat used to the noise by the second night, but every night we still woke up several times, either because of barking dogs or drunk people shouting in the street.

the beds were comfortable! contacting the host was instant!

the property is in real need of some attention, the kitchen is ‘tired’, the cupboard contents need replenishing!! only one good size mug and 2 teaspoons!!! shower head attachment broken, wouldn’t hang up! small things that let it down! couple of air fresheners wouldn’t go a miss!
