Soggiorno Dimora Del Grifo

This is a lovely old house right in the centre of San Miniato. Accommodation was perfect - comfortable beds, nice shower room etc. A great location with fabulous views of the surrounding countryside - would definitely recommend

The property was conveniently located at one end of the ‘Centro storico’ and it was very easy to navigate around the old town from there. It was well-signed and had a lovely view across the surrounding hills. The shower pressure was excellent and the room was very clean, with comfortable beds. Monica was an outstanding host- our train was delayed and she continuously replied to my texts throughout the day, in a timely fashion. She even went and purchased the Pilgrim’s Credential for my husband and I, so we could still start our ‘via Francigena’ early the next day, despite out Kate arrival the night before. Her restaurant recommendations were excellent and great value for money.
