We had a wonderful stay! Il Giardino del Viaggiatore is a great choice for anyone visiting Rome. The location is very convenient, with easy access to the city's main attractions. The apartment is cozy and comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a long day of sightseeing. Special thanks to the very friendly and helpful host! Everything was well organized, and communication was smooth and easy. We also really appreciated the opportunity to leave our luggage before check-in. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this apartment to anyone planning a trip to Rome. We would definitely stay here again!

The only thing that could be improved is the mattresses, which could be a little more comfortable. Replacing them would definitely make the stay even better. Apart from that, everything was great!

We enjoyed the en suite bathrooms for each room and that the apartment was in the basement plus a welcoming garden with warm lighting. The air conditioning was great, and the neighborhood was residential so quiet compared to a more central location. Since entry was through a gate, it gave an extra sense of security. One bedroom had a bunk bed! Lilli promptly replied to our messages and scheduled repairs soon after we made reports. She was very sweet!

There were a lot of mosquitoes in the garden and in the apartment. Since we were staying for 4 nights, it would have been nice to have extra towels.

The location is really good, a few meters from the subway station and also there are bus and tram lines in a walking distance. A good point is also that there are 2 markets in the street behind

The property looks clean at the first sight. After a few hours inside, you see many spider net behind the things. So it needs a deep cleaning, not superficial as it was. The rooms, kitchen were a bit dark which could be improved with lighter lights. Also, there were a lot of mosquitoes inside, for me an allergic person it was a nightmare. Also the hot water to take a shower wasn’t enough for 6 people. At the first day, only 2 of us was able to take a hot shower and other 2 took a cold one, the another 2 left waited around 1 hour to have hot water again. So, if you are in a group of more than 2, this is likely to happen. It’s really annoying because you are tired after sightseeing in extremely high temperatures and want to relax when you get back to your room. The good point here is that I contacted the host in the late night around 10-11pm and she went there to check what was happening straight away, unfortunately there wasn’t another way to fix that, only wait. Besides, one bathroom in the room on the left side after passing the kitchen has a bad sewage smell and the shower area flood while taking a shower furthermore the water leaked from the wall and the another bathroom in the room on the right side has a bad pee smell and much water leaked from the wall when turning on the shower.
