On arrival the bar manager carried out the reception duties. He was very friendly and informative regarding the traffic wardens/parking situation.
The bedrooms were very basic, felt old fashioned and cold.
The bathroom was not very clean and this was disappointing, this could do with a more modern shower unit or a replacement one. Toothpaste dried on the sink plug, cobwebs in the noisy fan, a build up of residue on the sink tap & the shower unit frame and shelf needs some attention to detail when being cleaned.
Main course was nice, dessert sour had been pre-prepped and the cream had turned.
