We had booked this accommodation for its location and the close proximity to the ION windsurf school and were not disappointed as we could see the school from our balcony. We also hired a car and could park right outside. Upon check in the staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond our expectations. We booked a standard room which was lovely but after checking in we asked if there were further options that we could look at. The staff were very accommodating and happy to show us alternatives. The upgrade was well worth the extra cost and literally made our holiday feel way more luxurious. The rooms are very well appointed and have everything you need for a self catering stay. The room we upgraded to felt so clean it was like we were the first people to stay in it. There was filtered water on tap with a complimentary water bottle to refill for the beach and also we were given a lovely cold bottle of bubbly in the fridge ready to crack open which we thought was very nice indeed! The attention to detail especially in the kitchen where every utensil had a place, was clean and well arranged. The WIFI is quick and didn't drop signal once. We were provided with clean towels and beach towels too. I would also like to comment on how clean the entire place is kept. All the walkways, steps and every nook and cranny were spotless, despite a constant battle with sand off the beach! As it is self catering it was important for us to have shops and bars nearby and we can confirm that there are a variety and the area is nice to spend time in. All in all I would give this holiday a 10 out of 10! We had a great time and would like to extend out thanks to everyone we met at the R2 Maryvent for making our holiday very special.

The only thing is the lack of air conditioning, it was very hot during our stay however the second I asked for a fan I was provided with a free standing one and the room that we upgraded to had a fan above the bed. Also with the doors and windows open we had a lovely through breeze most of the time. I cant think of anything else that I would mention as a negative.

Location/Proximity to the ocean. Cleanliness. View. Everything was thought out.
