Tuyet Son Hotel (TS Ocean Hotel)

The room was big enough and had two queen beds, which made our stay more comfortable. The location was right across from the beach, and we had a partial ocean view.

I’m not sure if this was just our experience or if others have experienced the same thing, but the people in Central Vietnam seem quite different from those in the North and South. We lived in the North before and are now in the South, and everyone we’ve met has been great. Before travelling to Vietnam, I had heard that these three regions can be quite different, and unfortunately, our experience with the receptionists in Da Nang was not very positive. The weekend receptionists asked us to cancel our Booking.com reservation and book directly with them instead, which we did. However, instead of giving us a better price, they actually charged us more. We showed the receptionist our Booking.com reservation, but she literally said she didn’t care and that her price was the price. We probably should have walked away, but we had just arrived from the airport and were tired, so we decided to stay anyway.
