Henry's, 27 The Terrace

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this lovely hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It has had an upgrade since we stayed last year with a new restaurant, cocktail bar and outdoor spaces added. Our room was large and comfortable with a great bed, (pillows are awful) tea and coffee making facilities, (fresh milk a lovely touch) and a super clean large bathroom with bath/shower. Great location with parking at the rear. The only gripe was the price of a two night stay has doubled since last year and to be honest we don’t think we had anything different, this time, to reflect the extra money. Not the VFM it was. :(

Could do with more staff at busy times.

The location was fantastic, the view whilst eating breakfast was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, we had air conditioning in the room which was a delight (even in October) The homemade granola was the best I’ve ever had, they printed off the recipe when I asked which was so nice. Parking was right next to the property. Cannot fault the hotel and cannot wait to come back

We loved everything

The location and quality of the hotel was fantastic. We booked the sea view room which blew us away looking down on Porthminster Beach. The hotel is a nice 10 minute walk away from the harbour and town centre. The breakfast was 10/10 along with the dinner service. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Lovely view over the beach and easy to get to. Good to have a parking spot.

The lock on the window was very loose but this is a minor issue.
