The house itself was tidy and felt spacious enough for 6 people. It’s a little aged but felt homely and comfortable. The location was good as it was a short walk to Callala Bay and Callala Beach. Definitely one of my favourite areas of NSW.

The address is listed on booking as Myola but it is not in Myola. The host requires you to access an external link and provide ID and credit card which feels very scammy and gave me anxiety. I was preparing a plan B in case I showed up and the property didn’t exist. Just a warning too… there is no dryer at the house so if it rains for days like it did during our stay, you might find it hard to dry clothes, towels etc. Also to save you time, the matches for the BBQ are in a draw in the laundry.

Cleanliness and enough space for the kids to move freely.

We faced challenges with infants due to lack of air conditioning and kids without wifi. Additionally, there were mosquitoes, so it would be helpful to provide mosquito spray before guests arrive.

I loved the high ceilings, the cottage feel. I also love the way it's set out.
