Loved the old building with its wide staircase, high ceilings and huge windows.
Room was very spacious and spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was adequate.
Location was convenient to the station.
No problem getting extra blanket and pillow.
The only negative was the receptionist who DID NOT GREET us on our arrival. She didn't say hello or welcome, and she didn't even smile.
It's not important, but the key fell off the (very heavy) keyring, and when we reported it the receptionist said "oh yes, we know about it"!

Cold continental breakfast had good choice, on site secure parking, comfortable bed.
Outside noise - residential shouting/talking late into the night, delivery lorry early in the morning - both required windows to be closed which stopped ventilation. Non-thermostatic shower over bath with curtain, had wide temperature fluctuations in use and curtain “clings” in the confined space. Decor whilst clean was dated. Lots of steps up/down along corridors plus across room door threshold tripped one of my family members.

Excellent location, quier room, comfy bed, cheap price, and suprising that breakfast was INCLUDED. Loved it!
