Its central location

The toilet (WC) is set too high, which makes life a little difficult for a short person 😂 It’s really important to ensure you obtain a parking space before arriving

We were upgraded to a larger room, which was impressive apart from the view into an internal square of walls above the roof of the dining area. Such a shame in this spectacular town. The windows were screened and got daylight so it wasn't that obvious unless you looked. The spacious bedroom had a king bed, table/desk and sofa bed as well as a safe. The bathroom was huge with a corner bath or separate shower and his and hers sinks. The bed was very comfy and the whole ambience of the hotel was great. Breakfast was good, the usual French fare with local preserves and honey. It's not far to walk into town for a dinner.

The hotel is located on a hilltop roundabout so parking outside is difficult. We had to go round the block twice until we could unload. The car park we were sent to after is a vast public one about 10 minutes walk away with a public lift, taking you down to the lower level of town to it. The car park is used for a market some days but it didn't affect us. We did manage to get parked outside to leave the next morning.

State of disrepair, flags outside an example of the bad maintenance, curtain falling apart, window frame broken, toilets so small you had to leave the door opened to avoid banging knees, shower door not closing properly so water in the tiny bathroom, very small and very hot room no air conditioning so noisy fan necessary.
