OYO Tamworth Arms Boutique Pub & Hotel

Staff were happy and friendly. One of the best breakfasts we have had. The pub had a warm atmosphere. The food, the curries, were amazing

We found the hotel very easily as it's very accessible from the main roads - also great that they had a carpark! The staff were super friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem for them. The room was cosy and had everything we needed. The breakfast was really good and set us up perfectly for the day ahead.

I liked the separation between rooms and pub, yet proximity was also good. My room was quite 'tight' but it was ok for me just for one night.

I would have liked clearer directions to the car park.

Good location and very clean. Limited choice of cooked breakfast but plentiful and tasty.

Our room - room 16 - smelt disgusting, it smelt of drains, enough to make you gag. We only dropped off our bags on arrival so hadn't really suffered it and it was late at night when we returned to our room so felt we couldn't tell staff. We opened the window which then made the room noisy from the road outside. On telling staff the next morning, two said yes, the drains can be awful, it's not our fault. So why let the room? I emailed the manager on our return but have heard nothing back 7 weeks later. Not good enough.
