Great location just short walk to the beach, very clean and bonus breakfast at a bargain price.

The room was excellent, everything is new. The bathroom is especially nice. The kitchen is small but sufficient. The terrace is fantastic, large, with wonderful seating and a view of the sea. It also has a view of small salt lakes, which is not so beautiful, but OK. Everything is cleaned daily and hygiene is good. Breakfast very decent. The location of the apartment is the best in my opinion. Close to everything, yet a little bit removed from the crowd. A beautiful beach 1 minute away, cafes, restaurants, bus station for Naxos town... The bus to the town takes about 15 minutes and they are solidly punctual. They went every half hour.

Minor issue. The coffee at breakfast is awful. They should get a machine with expresso, cappuccino, ... It's not expensive now, but it means a lot. It is true that you can go for coffee in one of the nearby restaurants, but that means when you have good coffee during breakfast. For many, a good morning coffee is more important than breakfast. Owners should understand this as good advice. Also, we had problem with third bed, however, the owner said that will take care of it. If we would came to Naxos, we would stay in these apartments again, but certainly on the 1st or 2nd floor, not on the ground floor.

The apartments are very spacious, new and clean and very well equipped. All staff were helpful and kind and special thanks to Maria our cleaning lady for her daily smiles and joy, she was so cheerful and friendly. Nectaria provided the most delicious breakfasts for us everyday, the best of our entire vacation. The apartment is well situated and a short walk to the beach, tavernas and restaurants.. Highly recommend Alykes.

Housekeeping came everyday.

I usually don’t write negative comments but we were very surprised when arriving / seeing the room / meeting the staff as we had only read exceptional comments - our experience unfortunately wasn’t as good. - the room was small and there was no light coming in (even when the weather was sunny), it felt like a room in a basement - there’s a small kitchen but no counter or table or anything so no space to cook anything - the TV barely worked (we assume because of the wind) - the location was okay as there is a great beach nearby but otherwise it’s a lot of spots that seemed a bit unauthentic (at least that’s how we felt!), tourist shops, etc. so not what we expected - it says there’s a laundry facility but you actually need to walk to a nearby laundromat so it’s not part of the hotel facilities - we didn’t feel like the hospitality was good: when we needed reception no one was there, and when we did speak with someone it felt like we were bothering them
