Great location (3 mins from Central Station).
We didn’t appreciate the owners/cleaning staff entering our room while we were out. This should have been mentioned during check-in; we only stayed there for two nights and were barely inside, so cleaning after us was not necessary. We would have requested fresh towels on our own if needed.

The check in process and the hosts were great. The location is excellent for exploring northern Italy with the train from Milan central. The room was clean and adequately furnished. The courtyard was cute and the associated bar had authentic pasta dishes that were delicious. The costs were very reasonable.

As close to Central Station as you could be.
A classic old apartment building with a traditional courtyard.
It’s a city centre by a large station so the street is inevitably noisy.

Close to the station as we needed to get a train to the airport early next morning.
Very clean, decent service shower
Didn’t feel very safe in the area, but it served its purpose.
Language barrier with owners, tea/coffee making facilities were in the corridor right outside our room (no 2)
Noisy guests making drinks early hours, not very sound proof could hear talking, mobile phones going off until 3am
