Lovely welcome from Daphne and family. Wonderful guest lounge with a fire to relax by when we arrived. Extremely comfortable bed and lovely bedroom. Great breakfast

Two sets of stairs.

The host Daphne is amazing and passionate about her B&B. She greeted me at the door and showed me around. The photos in particular on Booking do it no justice. The rooms (at least the one I stayed in) was much more updated than the photo. It’s the most charming and character filled B&B I stayed in during my two weeks in Ireland and the UK. Incredibly tastefully decorated in a traditional (yet modern) cottage style. There was a menu (!!) for breakfast and it was the best cooked breakfast I got in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Daphne, donning an apron, served it herself. Incredible value and the most charming, engaging B&B host. I wish all B&B hosts were like Daphne.

Absolutely nothing.

In a word, Stirabout Lane is just superb. Everything is first class, from the room to the breakfast and all in between. Honourable mention goes to: The Paul Costello towels and cups. The delicious home made brown bread with the lovely breakfast. The good shower. The comfortable bed. The 3 ply toilet roll. The heating on. The excellent hand lotion. The good tv with satellite channels. The communal living room. The garden space and finally Daphne, the perfect hostess. All in all, a terrific guest house and I highly recommend it.
