The Boma Nairobi

The location of the hotel is close to the Nairobi airport. The hotels has a nice cocktail bar (serves drinks and food), 2 restaurant and a cafe. The staff is professional and helpful. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds.

The hotel should regularly spray mosquito repellent in the lobby and cafe area. We had a lot of problems with mosquitoes in the hotel, more than what we experienced during the safari.

only negative not with hotel but when i booked thought it was nearer airport but that’s only a very minor thing - would not stop me recommending hotel

Great value for money - decent food at good prices and nice spacious rooms

We have stayed here before and it is good location near airport, but the price of food and drinks and the quality of food was really disappointing. Wouldn't bring my tour clients here again. Also had to show staff receipts etc to not pay things twice (like airport transfer) which was disappointing that their systems didn't show my payments and they were asking for more payments when I had confirmation receipts and emails from the hotel before arrival confirming I'd paid etc.

Price of food and breakfast was a lot higher than comparable hotels in Nairobi. Also the quality of the food was not reflected by the high pricing.
