SERHS Carlit Boutique Hotel

The location was convenient for my visit to Barcelona.

Rainwater leaked through the ceiling into my room from around 9 pm and continued overnight. I informed the hotel, but was asked to wait until 1 pm for an alternative room. The room was unsuitable, and the delay and lack of an immediate solution significantly disrupted my stay.

This is a very nice, small hotel in the city center. It is clean, well maintained and stylish. I felt very comfortable there as a solo female traveler.

I thought it was a little expensive.

The location was great and very convenient, especially as it was close to the Sagrada Família. The lobby was beautiful, clean, and well organized, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also delicious and had a good variety of options. I really appreciated that they offered gluten-free bread as well.

However, the room was extremely small. It was advertised as suitable for three people, but in reality, it was honestly only suitable for one person. The room was so small that we couldn’t even open our suitcases. I asked about upgrading to a larger room, but I was told that this was already the largest room available. I also asked about booking an additional room, but unfortunately, the accommodation was fully booked at the time. This made the overall experience somewhat disappointing. The refrigerator was also very small and, unfortunately, it was not cooling properly. We had to keep getting ice frequently to keep our things cold, which was quite inconvenient. Overall, the location, breakfast, lobby, and staff were all great, but the extremely limited space and the lack of a properly functioning refrigerator made the stay more tiring than expected.
