Rooms were air conditioned, plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants nearby

The swimming pool, too small and not very well maintained, too few loungers

The location was perfect for the Metro and Tram systems. The reception staff were amazingly attention and personal and took time to make you feel welcome.

The pool was quite dirty whilst we were there and there was a lack of sun beds even when the area had room for lots more

The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English. There was a wide selection for breakfast and the dining room was spacious and not too busy. The location is good for public transport.

We stayed in August when it was very hot. The pool was very busy and all the sun beds and chairs were taken, we therefore didn’t use the pool very much.

The building itself is functional and nicely decorated - as you would expect from a major chain of hotels in Spain. The location is a little far out, but well served with transport options. The staff were almost without exception helpful and friendly.

Cleanliness was an issue: our room cleaning was missed one day, and not remedied when we reported it to reception either. The empty cups and glasses we saw one day in the pool area were still there when we visited the next day. The room itself was basic to the point of Spartan. The bathroom was devoid of toiletries under the pretence of environmental consciousness, and when we asked for an item (bathroom tissues), as we were encouraged by signage to do, we were told the hotel didn't carry it. The breakfast, too, was basic and ungenerous - definitely not worth the additional charge.
