Great location, lovely, cosy pub Staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was big and comfortable We had a lovely meal there on the evening….food was great and everybody enjoyed it

We also booked the pubs cottage as there was a big group of us, the cottage sleeps 7 and this was ok for a night but 2 of the double beds were pull out sofa beds and not the comfiest Lastly, our breakfast was not great. There were some self serve options which were fine (toast, yoghurt etc) but any warm breakfasts were very slow to come and some did not come with what they had in the menu description and a few of us ordered poached eggs which were really undercooked and the toast was then soggy

Very well appointed room & good hospitality by staff. Great friendly ambience.

Observation rather than criticism - guest car parking is a short distance from the pub (free parking).

The cottage was quite quirky and in a good location

All of the beds were uncomfortable and old The sofa beds in the lounge were the worst really poor quality which was a shame considering how expensive it was. It is a shame because the staff were lovely and the breakfast was very good indeed
