I liked the relaxed nature of the host and his friendliness. On top of this, the location was terrific and the rooms felt private and were comfortable. One more thing was the hot tub, which was very relaxing.
Maybe a little cleaner, but to be honest I didn't have any issues.

This guesthouse is an experience where little pieces of interest can be discovered in most parts of every room. Rod,the host, is very genial and helpful. The position, views and the collection of antique and quirky objects abounding in your own room and the optional communal lounge and kitchen all contribute to a great experience at an amazingly reasonable price for the Mt Dandenong Tourist road area.
The rooms are reasonable size but not spacious, but I am comparing to stays costing double the cost.

It was in a very picturesque place, loved the view. It was a lovely building and Rod was very friendly and obliging.
The bed was comfortable and the linen was clean, but I have to be honest, the room we ended up in was dusty and the vanity top in the bathroom was dirty around the taps, the toilet seat wabbled about, but we were originally supposed to be in a different room so maybe that was the problem.
