Gioia Guest House Rome

Very good location, only a few minutes’ walk from Manzoni Metro A, with easy access to many of Rome’s main attractions. There are also restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, buses and gelato shops nearby. Our room for three was spacious, with high ceilings and a balcony, and the property was very clean. Special mention to Laura, the cleaning lady, who was excellent, polite and very helpful.

The walls are quite thin, so noise from neighbouring rooms can be heard, including conversations, laughter and snoring. The beds were not particularly comfortable. Guests should also be aware that personal belongings and beauty products are apparently not expected to be left on the room furniture, so it is worth asking about trays or storage. Tea is not provided, only coffee.

Great location, short walk from Manzoni metro station. Looks out on a garden area at the back. Has a shared kitchen available with fridge, microwave and kettle. Hosts were welcoming and answered any questions.

Noise from adjacent rooms - walls must be thin or not much insulation.

Close to train route for further away attractions and walkable to coliseum areas. 25 min or so. Restaurant, food market, cash machine close by. Room next to police station. Safer? Maybe. Staff flexible and helpful. Nice shared kitchen with fridge. Quiet and spacious room.

Bar soap would have been nice for shower.

We had the most amazing stay at this accommodation. It is very cheap for city centre and for three people. The accommodation was spacious. It was very, very clean. The beds were good and the service was fantastic. The cleaning lady is one of the loveliest people we have ever met and nothing was too much for her. She was very polite and helpful. 10/10. Location was excellent. Nothing was too far via the metro, tram, or bus which are all 3 minutes walk (literally round the corner). There is an elevator for if you need it. Though, it is on first floor which is only approximately 10 steps up. Overall, a great stay in a safe neighbourhood. Thank you so much! We left luggage after our stay for a few hours and there were no issues with this.
