Had been advised to avoid booking accommodation in Positano, try Praiano instead. So glad we took that advice. This accommodation was fantastic: the views were unforgettable; the accommodation was spacious; had all the essential facilities (we stayed five nights so the washing machine got a good workout, and we cooked dinner three nights); just a short "walk" down to the main road with supermarkets, bus stops and restaurants only 10 minutes away. Praiano is small and, relatively speaking, very quiet. Can recommend Gavitella beach (the public one, not the private) and Furore Fjord (short bus ride towards Amalfi); can't really recommend Marina di Praia. Dined at La Strada twice: great menu, good range of gluten-free options, excellent service and good value. Half-way up from Gavitella beach is Mirante cafe, a great place for a cocktail to help you watch the world go by. You should visit Positano - we spent a morning there - it's beautiful but it's a mad-house. Special shout-out to Domenico. Got myself into a serious pickle and Domenico went above and beyond to help me out. I'm very much indebted. We had a great time in Praiano.

There are a lot of steps to the accommodation but they've got nothing on Positano. They'll keep you fit. Rubbish separation could have been clearer at the collection point but that's nothing to do with the accommodation.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here – honestly, it was faultless. The view was simply breathtaking; every time we walked out of the door, it genuinely felt like we were looking at a painting. It was one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. Communication with the host was brilliant from start to finish. They were friendly, responsive, and made everything so easy. I could not recommend this place enough and would definitely book again the next time I’m in Amalfi. 10/10!

The only thing worth mentioning is that there are quite a few steep steps up to the apartment, so it may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or who struggles with stairs. However, this certainly wasn’t an issue for us and didn’t take away from our experience at all.

The house has a *wonderful view*. It has a *beautiful and spacious terrace*, and having breakfast there in the morning was *such a delightful experience*.

Unfortunately, the house is quite far from the main road and getting there with luggage is very difficult. Even without a suitcase, carrying even the smallest bag is quite a challenge as you either have to walk a long distance or climb a steep path with very steep stairs near the house. If this information had been provided at the time of booking, I would not have made a reservation there. Additionally, the equipment/amenities inside the house was insufficient. For a five-night stay, only two dishwasher tablets and two coffee filters were provided. I've stayed in many houses before, and they were all much better equipped and prepared with much more thought for renters. My recommendation to the host or the property managers is to provide the following items in the house: - Dish soap - Laundry detergent - Coffee filters - Paper towels - 1-2 bottles of water These may seem like small things, but they make a big difference in making guests' stay more convenient. Nowadays, most hosts provide these essentials—and even much more—to ensure a comfortable experience for their guests.
