Boutique-Hotel "Stilvoll"

Anderdach is een buitengewoon leuk plaatsje, Ik fietste van Lecce naar Arnhem en wilde niet in Koblenz overnachten, Stilvoll sprong eruit. Fantastisch gelegen op centrale plein. De stoelen op het terras zijn prachtig , maar zitten vreselijk. Binnen prima stoelen. Mijn fiets kon om de hoek achter slot en grendel gestald worden. Kamer perfect, maar geen klein lampje op nachtkastje, dus of vol licht s'nachts .Dat moet echt beter. Kamer en met name bed perfect. Ontbiijt 19,90 , dat is te duur, voor een broodje kaas moest ik 6,50 betalen Het avondeten is culinair , mijn oosterse bowl een aanrader 16 euro

The location was excellent for us. Doors and windows (everywhere in Germany it seems) were amazing…kept the room quiet except when we opened up to hear the church bells! Close to everything and safe.

We LOVE coffee as soon as our eyes open. Having a way to make coffee would be lovely.

Die Vorwarnung, dass das Hotel mit dem Auto wegen eines Volksfestes nicht erreichbar ist. Die Parktipps war zielführend. Auch sonst war die Abwicklung sehr gut. Man wurde per mail über alles Wesentlich informiert. Zimmer sehr schön. Freundlichste Menschen im Restaurant. Auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert....

Overall the "Stilvoll" impressed with friendly staff and good breakfast. Particular impressive has been the very fast response to an issue we raised basically within minutes i recceived back a call from the owner and the staff tried to find a solution. This has been particular impressive as i mailed the probleme to a very general e-mail adress instead of directly calling someone. As "Andernach" is really small the location was very good, but not a distinction to any other hotel in the area. The check-in process was cleverly designed automateed in a manner that timing was not problem.

Where a good side is, there is a bad side as wel; 1. In our bathroom there had been trouble with the sanitary installment, such that fementation gases from the canalization came back up. It smelled disgusting. Although staff tried to fix it with checmicals, this did only bring relief for a few hours. 2. The service was friendly but very loud. When i asked that the service would use my credit card which has been used to guarantee the reservation, they explained me very longish that this would not work because than they would need to wait. Although i said okay and agreed to pay via another credit card directly at the check out, the service kept on explaining what the problem was and kept talking. Again overall very firendly service, but sometime could not read the moment very good. 3. Data protection has been vague - asking loudly in the room of room XYZ with guest XYZ will come to breakfast or not, seems to be no real problem, but indicates a missing / lacking respect which i personally looking for in a hotel. 4. Let's discuss the price: Again a very clean, small hotel with friendly staff, but 125€ incl. breakfast a night seems very competitive. for a rather small room which did not even include a bottle of water. I enjoyed the stay, but in bigger cities you receive similiar priced deals at higher ranked hotels with more exclusive service. I am in doubt that this price can be fully reasoned - it seems overall fair at the higher end of the range.
