Boutique Florence

Cheap room, good value, good location. Clean. Nice host.

A little noisy inside.

Very convenient for the port. Outside area to sit with room we had which was great. Decent size room too.

Would like thicker curtains on windows.

Location staff quirky decor

Nothing

A nice quirky hotel close to the port with a lot of stairs inside which might be a problem for some. The friendly receptionist very kindly helped me with my large bag up two flights The room was pleasantly comfortable and sweetly decorated with everything you need including a large bottle of water. A lot of plumbing noises from other bathrooms.

One thing to mention. I booked two rooms for me and a friend months ago in early January but had to cancel her room soon after due to the unrest in the Middle East. It was non refundable but because of the unusual situation all the other hotels refunded but unfortunately this hotel would not despite the booking was in June and the hotel was full and would not have lost a single cent. Several attempts to email, call, message including a message sent by Bookingdotcom went unanswered. Disappointing communication and outcome. We are already planning next years trip to Greece and will definitely rebook the hotels who thoughtfully refunded.
