The Grand Mira Hotel

The property seems new and the rooms were very large. Breakfast was great. Staff were good, despite English level being low

Although the room was very large, they were sparsely furnished. There were no chairs in the room, later discovered there were a couple of upright chairs on the veranda. Perhaps a little bit further from the airport that I have expected.

The hotel's location is quite strategic, so I'd consider it good. I do have one small note about the room with the sea-view window: a beautiful view, no doubt, but unfortunately there's a railway right in front, so you're forced to keep the windows closed because of the noise. Other than that, everything is fine.

Without a shadow of a doubt, I would improve the quality of the dishes offered at breakfast. The soups (corba) were completely bland, with no salt; the rest of the food was edible (often not looking fresh), but as I mentioned, I would improve the quality of the dishes offered. Considering a change of chef in the kitchen would be an added value to boost the hotel's reputation. I'll stay here again: I just hope the kitchen improves, because it would be a shame. Thanks to the kindness of the staff, especially Sadik for his expertise.

We were lucky about the room, we got the sea view and was amazing. Also very close to train stops and many buses.

We were unlucky and the fire alarm started to sound at 2am. Some of us went downstairs very confused, but there was not body explaining us were to go; there was a guy trying to solve the situation and after a while we understood it was a mistake. Also fruit juice was not good, that could be improved.

As soon as I reached the electric kettle went off and that made the whole power supply gone. During breakfast, the kitchen asked me to pay money for an omelette.
