Wildernest

We had a wonderful one-night stay at Wildernest, Thekkady, with four families, including one couple celebrating their honeymoon. The highlight was the thoughtful arrangement made by the team for the surprise we had requested for the newly married - it was truly overwhelming and made the occasion even more special. The spacious and comfortable rooms were perfect for our group, giving everyone enough space to gather, relax, and spend quality time together. The hospitality, ambience, and attention to our request made our stay truly memorable. A heartfelt thanks to the entire team at Wildernest for making our short stay so special. We would love to return!

A spotlessly clean hotel with excellent food in the restaurant, just a stone’s throw from the national park, and with staff who are always on hand to help and provide us with some very interesting sightseeing.

Fantastic location right near the national park and very close to the shuttle bus and starting point for other activities. Restaurants and shops all close by. The staff were really helpful and answered many of our questions about the activities we'd booked in Periyar NP, they even saved breakfast for us when we were late back after our morning nature walk without us even asking them to. Our room was very spacious and had a lovely balcony area on top. The setting of the hotel is very scenic and despite being on a busy road it is quiet and tranquil.
