Dinner at the hotel. Alison had salmon, usually a safe option (even in a heatwave) if properly cooked. She had been fine before supper but was sick overnight as reported to staff. I had another option and was fine.

Really well made for hosting families while keeping its charm for a romantic dinner in the garden

Very nice hotel, good location, comfortable mattress, reasonable price for the breakfast , family room is very convenient.
Shower space is kinda narrow.

Picturesque building. We got a place in the (apparently limited) parking.
No lift. No restaurant. The latter is offered by the hotel literally 50 yards away (which happens to be part of the same chain). But basically what is on offer is in Premier Inn/Travelodge territory. I happily stay in both when available but then they are not charging €250 per night plus breakfast at €16 a head. Value for money? - hmm!

"What a fantastic little gem of a place we just happened to find on our trip South. The hotel is immaculately presented, the staff were so friendly & helpful. The beds are extremely comfortable. Overal..."
