Location and charm of an old quirky hotel.
As it was an old hotel in old town the plumbing wasn’t the best and there were sewer smells coming from the sink drain and you could hear gurgling sounds when other rooms used their water. Staff were great and moved us to another room which was much better but still had faint sewer smells .

Alex on reception was very helpful. Our original room was poor but moved to more acceptable room without hassle. The biggest negative is the proximity of the hotel to the church which rang its bells every 15 minutes all day and night. Breakfast was fine. Its location close to the Royal Palace was excellent. NO traffic allowed by hotel after 11am which is a challenge for taxi pick up. Old town is lovely.
