Casa Astarita

Our room was charming, as was the common area. Our bed was comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot. The B&B is on a very lively street, which made it fun going out and coming home, especially at night. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We loved the sweet and kind women who prepared and served it. They made delicious scrambled eggs. Fruit, ham and cheese also were available, along with brown or white toast and a large selection of pastries and cookies. I really like the plain yogurt, although there also were fruit varieties, because there were nice dried fruits and nuts to add, along with the fresh fruit. It was nice to be able to have more than one cup of coffee, which was unusual in our experience in Italian accommodations.

Our room was pretty small, although that did not really bother us. There were no places to set your luggage, but there were two nice closets. The bathroom also was quite small, but it was well appointed and very very clean.

Beautiful centrally located historical home in Sorrento. We loved our stay here. The owners are so welcoming, it’s beautifully decorated and they serve a delicious breakfast. Thanks for having us!

Nothing all wonderful!

Although we only stayed for one night, we loved our stay! The location for starters was perfect and super central to Sorrento town. It was easy to get around between the train station and port. The staff were super friendly and the included breakfast was delicious. Rooms were super cute and colourful and bathrooms relatively modern.

After taking the lift from the ferry harbor, the walk to Casa Astarita was relatively short. The location is great! There was a lovely little private courtyard for added security. The room was very nice - comfortable and filled with light. The bathroom was large and the AC worked great. The breakfast included, among all the other standard fare, made to order eggs. The service was fantastic. Irons were available.
