Catalonia Reina Victoria

Everything, but the location is the star. Fantastic views to the west and an easy ten minute walk into the must see town. The outside space is excellent. A nice pool area; a good spa/wellness provision. Breakfasts are really good. Our superior room was spacious and comfortable with great balcony view. It's a hotel with a good, relaxing feel, a haven of peace from the very busy, touristy town. Staff were helpful and friendly.

An excellent, quiet hotel with a swimming pool in the garden; the breakfast was truly great.

The only downside to our stay was a wedding held in the garden that evening, right beneath our windows. The music was very loud, I measured up to 70 dB. When I asked at the reception around nine o'clock how much longer the celebration would last, I was told it would be an hour at most. That turned out not to be true at all; everything continued well past midnight. When we choose a hotel outside of a noisy city center, we expect a quiet night, so the hotel needs to decide whether it wants to be a quiet establishment or a noisy dance venue.

Beautiful hotel in a great location away from the crowds. Staff very helpful, spa great and breakfast very good.

Nothing

Staff were friendly and helpful. The location and views were great.

Room - we had a suite that was well worn (eg bouncy laminate flooring) and badly designed (eg no proper bathroom - toilet, shower and wash basin each in different rooms, lack of towel rails, hooks); a lot of dead space; noisy plumbing system meant bathroom activity upstairs was clearly audible Terrace - great view but no shade Spa - this was one of the main reasons for our stay but it was disappointing - tiny sauna to fit 2 people for a 90 room hotel! - sauna bench was sagging in middle, lacking proper support; changing facilities for 2 people at a time - money invested in the spa has not been wisely spent
