The Snowdon House

It was close to the village. The room was spotless and the bathroom was very modern. There was space for parking but parking on the street was possible.

There was nothing to dislike

Hosts were friendly and chatty. Good location, quiet road but easy access to town and beach. Also on bus route.

Breakfast was outstanding, but would prefer breakfast extended to 9.30.

Snowdon House was just excellent! Our room, though a little on the small size, had everything we could possibly need for a weeks stay! The bathroom was brand new and impeccably clean. The hospitality tray was well stocked daily and the bed was super comfy! Breakfast was plentiful with a great choice of dishes/diets catered for. Sally’s hubby makes a mean poached egg too! The location of Snowdon house is perfect for the beach and the old town. Shanklin is hilly and the beach is a short walk from your accommodation… but what goes down must come up… which is where the Shanklin cliff lift comes in very handy … it’s worth a pound of anybody’s money! The shanklin Chine is also worth a shout. We were first timers on the island but I don’t think it will be our last visit!

We visited during a hot spell and the room was particularly warm at times ( but I’m sure if we’d asked for a fan it would have been sorted.
