Each member of the staff was fantastic. Leon was unbelievably helpful and caring about our needs from the moment we arrived until the time we left!

Too many stairs and the carpets need cleaning

Great location, walking distance from the places of interest in the old town. Charming old property, great breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff

Some of the upholstery and carpeting can do with replacement as they are quite old and tired looking.

The location was perfect. There were also outside areas within the hotel that you could enjoy

Location. Breakfast. Afternoon tea time snacks and champagne. Guy who cheerfully took our heavy two suitcases up two flights of steps.

Front desk staff, one unwelcoming and uninterested, as if the sight of incoming new guest bothered him. The other on departure telling us wrong place to get our ordered taxis, which almost left without us. So clearly the second front desk staff was clueless. No elevators. Many will find the interior design more like an B&B. It’s overly ornate style wasn’t bad - just not our cup of tea. A real bother was the outspoken, pompous and loud voice for everyone to hear during breakfast. Clearly the owner could care less about his guests which, pretty much says it all about his staff. For the money of this place I would suggest going elsewhere. We certainly will in the future.
