Location! We can see the view of Taupo lake from our room. They also provide washing and dry machines.

The bed was super comfortable. The heated pool was a nice addition.

Beautiful location on the lake.
Need to make booking for sauna and grotto which is bizarre and very inconvenient due to the 40mins it took to warm the sauna up and you only get a 1 hr time allowance to use them.
Lady at front desk (not sure name) but fairly non-approachable and quite unfriendly. Entire hotel needs some TLC and deep clean.
