Bran Belvedere International

A lovely family-run guesthouse with very friendly and welcoming hosts. There is convenient parking available, and the location is peaceful and pleasant. One of the highlights is definitely the beautiful view of the mountains when you wake up in the morning. It is also very convenient if you have an early morning visit booked at Bran Castle, as the castle is only about a 5-minute drive away. A very nice place to stay in the Bran area, with a warm and personal atmosphere. I really enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend it.

The only minor inconvenience is the coded gate at the entrance, which can be a little impractical when arriving by car.

Obsługa bardzo miła i uprzejma. Pomimo wczesnego opuszczenia obiektu , śniadanie było specjalnie dla nas przygotowane oraz taxi zamówione na odpowiednią godzinę. Polecam , obiekt czysty i dobrze utrzymany.

Good location, clean and spacious with good outdoor facilities.

Few things: - No air conditioning in the room even though it’s mentioned on the website - Breakfast was underwhelming, there was no buffet as mentioned/promoted on the website. Everyone was served a generic plate and we noticed that some other tables had different options of food but when we asked for the same thing they refused. Extremely poorly breakfast. No fruits/yogurts/ cereals with milk or sweets were available. - Staff was basically not to be found most of the times, our guess was that they were only the owners of property around in the peak hours.

The family run staff was friendly and very accomodating. They stayed up late to let us in the security gate upon our arrival, and provided excelent recommendations for activities in the area.

We chose this property based on the pool.  Once we arrived, they did not have the pool full and then we learned of the "extra" charges for EVERYTHING.  If you want to use the pool, you have to "rent" a towel (you are not allowed to take a towel from the room).  If you want a chair to sit while at the pool, it was also an extra charge.  If you want a table at the pool, you guessed it...an extra charge.  There is no air conditioning (this we knew) so we slept with the windows open.  There were area dogs that seemed to bark all night, then we were awakened by a neighbor using a chainsaw at 7:30 AM.  These noise complaints are not something that the property can control, it was just unfortunate.  The property did have some construction noise during the day as well.  The beds were the most uncomfortable mattresses of all the hotels I have stayed in.  Also, the shower head in the whirlpool tub does not extend high enough to stand up, therefore I had a modified shower/tub experience.
