Aeromar Beach Hotel

Friendly staff and welcoming

I’ve stayed at this charming hotel several times over the years due to its location right on the beach and proximity to the airport. Built in 1966 it retains an authentic feeling but the rooms have continued to be modernised with flat screen tv, aircon and new bathrooms. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available in the hotel restaurant with excellent quality and value for money. If you want to there are several other bars and restaurants to visit on Faro beach. Every room has a beautiful view of the ocean or the river.

We liked everything but it’s worth noting for those who can’t manage stairs, there is no lift and no ground floor accommodation. All bedrooms are on the first floor.

Superb location , fab staff . Roof terrace is amazing , we took drinks up from the bar ( very good prices for a hotel ) personally think they are missing a trick by not having a small rooftop Bar

It’s a little dated and wouldn’t take much to improve

The view over the river was great. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Parking. Arriving during the afternoon in August and trying to park was extremely stressful. After 8pm, no problem.
