very nice hotel with a warm and slightly old fashioned feeling, I liked it very much. the location is excellent just a few minutes from the railway station and city center. self check-in worked perfectly, in no time I had my room key. the room was spacious and clean and the bed prepared and decorated decorated in a very meticulous manner, and comfortable
the room was on the second floor with no elevator (or at least I couldn't find one), not a issue for me but it could be. most of the time during my stay the reception was not staffed but there was a phone number to call and I think the staff must be in the building since they also run the restaurant on the groud floor, so they'd arguagly react very quickly, I did not have a chance to test

Fair price for a generally good room, convenient location
Tiny bathroom - in our room a person with broad shoulders might have genuine problems reaching the washing basin

Perfect location: short walk from the main train station, passenger ferry port, and the city center. Far enough from main roads to be quiet and peaceful. Very friendly and helpful staff. Everything appeared clean and well maintained.
Rooms are very small, not recommended for those that feel easily claustrophobic. Lack of air conditioning can also make the rooms uncomfortable on hot summer days. Konstanz is an expensive town, so while the pricing may be market rate, it doesn’t feel like a great value compared to what you’ll get in other parts of Germany.
