Acorn Lodge Guest House - Free parking

Was hard to find. Could not see a sign from the road

Comfortable, safe and the location.

I did not meet any staff as the property is accessed by instructions given (no meet and greet check-in), The property is a period building with staircases at the front and rear. Not exactly sure how many room there are but I was in number 25 with 26 being next door. The room was clean enough for me (top sheet on the bed a little stained) and the bin is emptied everyday which I was surprised at. The bed is comfy and provides a goodnights sleep, ensuite is welcome if a little compact for those who require a little more space it may not be to your tastes. The room is furnished with a set of draws, wardrobe and cushioned chair with small bedside cabinet. Shower cubicle has a curtain to pull across and the water supply is hot enough.

A little noisy from the rooms adjacent but apart from that the stay was great for my working visit to Gosport. Spending limited time in the room I cannot describe what it maybe like during normal working hours.

The room was as i expected, and it was clean. I appreciated the tea facilities

There was no water so i couldnt shower. I didnt like the last minute emails with access code. This could have been sent a few days ago before travelling. Also i felt it was expensive for a tired house in a non-afluent area.
